The Essence of Food and Musical Joy
Through food, music, and story circles, the event is aimed to uplift and share important cultural legacy stories and histories as participants enjoy authentic renditions of the Gullah-Geechie cuisine. In commemoration of Black History month, this event features members of the Vocal Essence Witness Choir, G. Phillip Schoultz Director, and flavors influenced by the Gullah and Low Country art of cooking prepared James Johnson, Founder and Chef of Cooks of Hope, LLC and hosted at Progressive Baptist Church in St. Paul.
