Worship Ministry

Holy Scripture is filled with exhortations to give God honor, glory, praise, and adulation:

“Praise the LORD! Praise God in His sanctuary; Praise Him in His mighty firmament! Praise Him for His mighty acts; Praise Him according to His excellent greatness! Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet; Praise Him with the lute and harp! Praise Him with the timbrel and dance; Praise Him with stringed instruments and flutes! Praise Him with loud cymbals; Praise Him with clashing cymbals! Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!” (Psalm 150:1-6 NKJV)

God is complete, needing nothing; He doesn’t need our worship — we need to worship Him! Who we worship makes us who we are. It focuses our attention, forms our priorities, and frees us to exercise faith. Worship rewires us to see, hear, and trust God deeper and longer. Believers cannot be whole and mature apart from regular worship.

Vision

Our vision is to provide “The Progressive Experience” (a warm, welcoming place, biblically centered, Holy Spirit-inspired preaching, uplifting quality music, praise, and worship) for every person who attends Progressive’s worship service.

Mission

Our mission is to provide opportunities for everyone to exercise obedience, devotion, and surrender to the Lordship of Jesus Christ through corporate worship opportunities.

Worship Opportunities at PBC

Our local body meets on Sundays at 11:00 a.m. for corporate worship, Bible preaching, giving, prayer, and service. At our church, you can worship and express your devotion to God in many ways, and we invite you to explore them all.
